- made long distance phone calls
- spent time with pen and paper
- writing friends
- making lists
- paying bills
- waited for friends to write back
- played board games
- spending more time with family
- had less friends - I've met some great friends online!!!

Hmmm... no internet. I can remember having a pen pal and writing letters back in forth too. I couldn't wait to get a letter in the mailbox from her. Now that I'm a grown-up, I just get bills in the mailbox... haha... blah.
